Jen & Aidan’s wedding at the Berkeley Bicycle Club was just perfect and it couldn’t have been any better! The bride got ready with her bridal party with ease and there was no sense of urgency – they blasted music off their phone, drank champagne, took some selfies. The getting ready always sets the tone for the rest of the day! Jen & Aidan shared an intimate first look at the Berkeley Bicycle Club (second floor) and you can see how floored Aidan was! I loved their ceremony: firstly it was an unplugged wedding, which means everyone was present and not experiencing the wedding through their phone; secondly, Aidan’s friend played music as Jen walked down the aisle with her father. It was a very cozy ceremony and you can really feel that everyone was paying attention to the couple and celebrating with them.
Let’s talk about food, it was so good that my second shooter and I still talk about it! It was a buffet style, but everything, I mean EVERYTHING was so delicious! It was a casual dinner where people mingled and sat wherever they pleased. I love it when people do things their way! Whatever works for you, I encourage couples to pursue that dream wedding. At the end of the night, Aidan surprised Jen by bringing their dog Friday to the reception. How adorable is that?
This wedding was truly beautiful and we loved documenting it!
