Ten years ago, Sarah & Dev met at the University of Toronto when Dev offered to loan Sarah his textbook. This modern couple envisioned a wedding at the Spadina Museum & Garden that is uniquely their own.
There were no traditional seats for the ceremony/exchange of vows. Officiated by a close family friend, all the guests stood below the steps as Sarah & Dev exchanged their vows. Following the ceremony, guests were served food in various stations and hors d’oeurves. Guests sat in patio seats or picnic style tents. As well, guests were also encouraged to play lawn games if so they wished!
Sarah’s three piece dress floored everyone, and it was perfectly fitting for this garden wedding. Did you know you can take off the tulle of the dress to turn this into an evening dress? I think this is a brilliant idea! A wedding dress you can actually wear again!
Spadina Museum and Garden Wedding (Why you should consider this place):
If you are looking for a small intimate setting for your wedding, you might want to consider Spadina Museum & Garden. In addition, Spadina House offers so much character with its details in architecture, a vineyard and greenhouse on site! Also a perfect place if you are into garden parties.
